This is a poem that a friend wrote ... It is one of the best poems I have read
it's from her heart about someone that was so close to her!!!! Tana gave me permission
to have her Poem on my page !!! I have to say I'm DAM Proud to post it on here!!

We met one dark and warm summer night...
His blue eyes shown bright against the light...
Little did we know when our eyes met...
That is was the wind that would take us yet...
To a place where we would love ...
And all would see us from above.
On his bike I felt so free...
"He's no good" they kept tellin me...
Foolish was I to pretend to see..
When I realized we were meant to be.
I had no fear to be behind...
This rider who was oh so kind..
Little did the others know..
What we shared when they would go.
About their merry ways they went ..
We just rode where we were sent..
Along the roadside we stopped to rest...
The flowers he picked were the very best.
In silence we enjoyed the morning sun...
A brand new day had just begun...
Yes..though the night we did ride ..
Never did I leave his side.
Seasons come and they did go..
What was to come I did not know..
One night a kiss, with tears did find..
All would soon be left behind.
The news and shock I could not stand...
This was not the way we had things planned..
Too late, I'm sorry, my precious love...
Please watch over me from above.

That was in his home page to me !! Here is the poem!!
I wrote this poem late one night
waiting for my hair to dry
The breeze blowing in
from the window open to the sky
I sat there thinking of words
and which ones to use
How would I say things
and still be able to muse
Quietness overcame me
and I began to write
the sound of clicking keys
breaking through the night
The words just seemed to flow
as thoughts became clear
That soon it would mark
the beginning of a new year
A year of change and sorrow is over
and beginning now is anew
The changes have been for better
and they have brought me to you
You’ve had a tough year
and could be bitter by all rights
but instead you choose to be bright
and shine throughout the nights
An inspiration just came over me
though its happened all this year
I’ve had good memories
because you were so near
Friends may come and go
but you’ve really been true blue
Don’t know if I’d have made it
if not for friends like you
While I am away this Christmas
your laughing soul I will miss
But thanks to a dear friend in you
I’ll have my Merry Christmas.....
