"Ugh, it's Hanson," Delia exclaimed over the music blaring out of the radio. She and her best friend Celine were hanging out in her room, listening to music. They were both twelve years old and in the 7th grade, but had totally different opinions on some topics; music, especially. Delia, seeing the look on her friend's face, then added, "What? I don't like them, okay?"
Celine flipped her curly brown hair behind her shoulders. "Yeah, that's kind of obvious, Del. But why don't you like them? I mean, they live right down the street from us! Is it just that they've become so famous all of the sudden, and we haven't, and they're really no different from us?"
Delia sighed loudly. "We don't need to go over this again, really, we don't. I don't totally hate them, I just don't understand their music at all. I think they're being taken advantage of because of their age and looks and all, not their talent."
"Whatever," Celine replied. "Anyway, the song's not even on anymore, there's no use arguing over it." Satisfied with her friend's reasoning, Delia shut up about Hanson and the two girls sang along with Rob Thomas to the song, Push.

Celine was spending the night over Delia's that night. They had just finished eating dinner and were on the computer in Del's room. They were working on making a web page about all of their favorite bands, and, due to the fact that they lived right down the street from them, Hanson was included on the page. While Delia worked on getting the Sister Hazel logo to load onto the screen, Celine grew bored. She wandered over to her friend's bed and sat down. She started to hear noises coming from the street, so she knelt up to the windowsill and pushed it open, using all of her strength. She grabbed a flashlight off of a shelf in Delia's room and turned it on, lighting up the sidewalk below.
The light shone right into a boy's face, and he looked up, startled. When Celine realized who she had just almost blinded, she hastily moved the flashlight slightly to the right. There, two other people looked up at her, very confused. She found herself looking straight at Taylor and Isaac Hanson, brothers of the first boy she'd spotted. Celine gasped, and smacked her hand against the side of the window. "Shit," she muttered, trying to see if there were any abrasions on her hand. In the process of trying to make sure she was okay, Celine lost grip of the flashlight she'd been holding. It fell and hit Taylor right smack on the head, sending him flying to the hard pavement beneath him. Celine screamed, and flew down Delia's staircase and out of the door. She ran over to where Isaac and Zac stood, trying to get their brother to come to. When he didn't, they started to panic. Isaac looked up at Celine helplessly. "Uh...can we use your phone?"
Celine was still in minor shock, but managed to nod and lead Ike into her best friend's house, leaving Zac outside with Tay. Delia had sensed commotion and rushed downstairs to see what the problem was. When she spotted Isaac Hanson standing in her living room, talking on her phone, she stopped dead in her tracks, causing her little sister, Nadia, who had appeared curiously, to run straight into her. A few minutes later, Delia's mom appeared in the doorway, looking very puzzled. "What on Earth is going on?"
