How do you like it so far? Email Gina and tell her!

Delia and Celine woke up around 11:00 the next morning. They decided to just skip breakfast since it was close enough to lunchtime. Right as they were about to change, the phone rang. Delia answered her maroon cordless on the second ring. "Hello?"
"Hi, is uh,Delia there?" a male voice asked.
"Speaking. May I ask who's calling?" Delia asked politely.
"This is Isaac Hanson," he stated.
"How'd you get my phone number?" Delia wondered suspiciously. She glanced at Celine who was sitting cross-legged on her sleeping bag, eyeing Delia curiously.
"I, uhI looked it up in the phone book."
"Oh," was her reply. "Well, I, er, we were wondering if you and uh, Celine wanted to go to McDonald's with us for lunch," Ike managed to get out.
"Hold on," Del replied, cupping her hand over the mouthpiece of the phone. She offered the idea to her friend, who readily agreed. "Sure. What time?"
"Around noon," Ike explained.
"Okay," Delia replied.
"See you then," Isaac concluded.
"Bye!" Delia hung up the phone, looking bewilderedly at Celine. "I can't believe I just agreed to go out to lunch with Hanson."
"Del, believe it! They're not that bad!" Celine exclaimed, then wandered into the bathroom to change clothes. Forty-five minutes later, the two girls were waiting downstairs in the Braden's living room. Delia was wearing a gray Old Navy shirt and hip-huggers, and Celine was wearing a green and blue striped shirt with wide-legged jeans. Both girls jumped at the sound of the doorbell ringing a few minutes later.
They grabbed their purses and dashed to the door, yanking it open. The doorbell continued to ring. When they opened it, Zac stood there, still ringing the doorbell, even after they'd answered the door. The five-some walked down the empty Tulsa streets to the local McDonald's.
When they arrived there, Zac and Delia went to save seats for everyone while Taylor, Celine, and Isaac ordered the food. Their food finally arrived, and everybody dug in. Tay, Ike, and Zac seemed to be talking to Celine more than Delia, and Del was getting annoyed. She finished her lunch rather quickly and announced that she had to go meet Mike at the mall. Celine watched her go, very puzzled. She knew that Delia was lying to them. Mike was at his grandparents house in Virginia and wasn't due back for another week or so. "Who's Mike?" Ike wanted to know.
"Her boyfriend," Celine answered. "They've been going out for about four months now."
"Do you have a boyfriend?" Zac inquired casually. Celine shook her head. "Nope." She then got up and threw her trash away.

* * *

Delia stormed out of the McDonald's and wandered aimlessly around the streets. Celine was getting all the attention, and it was really pissing Delia off. She was surprised at her own thoughts. She didn't even like Hanson, right? Then why was she so pissed off? Why did she even care? Weren't she and Celine supposed to be best friends, no matter what happened? That's what Delia was asking herself as about 100 different thoughts ran through her head at the same time.
