Hello! My name is Brian K. Taylor (the "k" stands for KRAZY!!) Anyway, here's my story. I live in a small midwestern town and spend most of my time jammin and workin, workin and jammin. Hey! We all have to be responsible right? Well, me and the guys in my band, ELEKTRIK MOTORFISH have finally come up with a groovin style of music we feel no other outfit can conceive. AGGRESSIVE, PROGRESSIVE, HARDCORE, METAL, FUNK is what it is all about. We've had a tremendous response from the local crowds and everyone seems to enjoy a little motorfish on their variety platters! ("would you care for any extra sauce with that?") Now, about the guys in the band. I, Brian K. Taylor, play guitar and handle lead vocals. I've been to the East coast, West coast and back but finally found my calling back here in the good ole midwestern sate of Kansas where I was born and raised. It may not be the most glamorous place to be but anything can happen...anytime, anywhere. I guess it's all about how you apply yourself. OK, now Kenny Becker plays the Drums. A very talented, well seasoned player who relies more on the feeling of the song rather than being to flashy or technical. Like most bands the drummer can have a major influence on a bands style and after playing with many drummers in the past I'd have to say Kenny is one solid musician. A definite motorfish contender. Last but certainly not least, we have Eric Mulvaine on Bass guitar. I've know this guy for over ten years as a friend and fellow musician and he is a definite all round player. His influences range from anything that spells Rock, Blues, Jazz, Funk or even the heaviest of thrash. Whatever it may be, he can do it and believe me the job will get done...SOLID!!!!!! ELEKTRIK MOTORFISH has been together about three years now and have played numerous live shows, opening up many local and national acts throughout the Midwest. ELEKTRIK MOTORFISH has also received radio play on 105.9 THE LAZER based out of Lawrence, KS. covering Topeka, Manhattan and most of the greater KAnsas City area. ELEKTRIK MOTORFISH has also built up many reviews from both local and out of state fanzines, all with positive response on originality. ELEKTRIK MOTORFISH will be releasing their second recording this winter '99 which was recorded at REDHOUSE in Eudora, KS.ELEKTRIK MOTORFISH will then continue to play live and promote their name throughout the area building their fan base both locally and nationally. We look forward to hearing from you and we hope to see all of you at the top real soon. GET MOTORVATED!!!!!!!!!!!! From an Underwater Hell in Space, we thank you in advance for your time.
