picture when Carl & I were dating
(how about that car?) |
I hid Carl's suit in the airplane when visiting The Papes
in Hays, KS so
James could take
this picture.

I'm here in Southwest
Oklahoma
I was born while W.H. Taft was president
of the United States.
|
My husband, Carl W. Hohmann, was a pioneer aviator, he was
a flight instructor at Chickasha when Pearl Harbor was bombed,
later he did agricultural spraying. He was very technology minded:
we had one of the first TVs in the area and one of the first
personal computers (a TRS-80). He was also a TV repairman and
farmer. He died of Amyotrophic
Lateral Sclerosis (Lou Gehrig's disease) in 1987.
I'm a homemaker who enjoys going to church
and Senior Citizens Center activities; as well as making crafts,
tatting, bargain and coupon shopping, gardening (flower &
vegetable) and food preservation. I 'm always willing to try
anything -once.
I have 2 daughters, 5 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
I also have one son-in-law (one has passed away), and two grandsons-in-law.
