basic definition
the basic definition of straight edge (sXe) is above. those are the original guideline of the edge. since then, though it has evolved into a much more laid out rulebook. some people put many more restrictions on themselves and call it a part of sXe. but, in actuality sXe is simply what is bulleted above. four simple rules. but you as an individual can make what you want of it. some choose vegetarianism or even veganism.some become involved in politics,such as anti-racism or animal rights. i think politics is a great addition to the rules. being clear headed can help you think about political issues.
