Pure Country is a 1992 film released by Warner Bros. Pictures starring George Strait (in his film debut) and Lesley Ann Warren, and directed by Christopher Cain of Young Guns fame. It is 113 minutes of pure country.
The movie is about a Superstar named Dusty Chandler who grows tired of all the smoke, strobe lights, and over miked sounds of his arena audiences. Finally one night he had enough and said he was just going for a little walk as he walked out ofthe empty arena. He wanted to reclaim his down home country roots. It is a great movie, so if you haven't seen it, trust me you've really missed one of the best!!
