Over the years George Strait has received numerous, well deserved, Awards. Many of these Awrds are voted on by Fans, like me. Check out the list of Awards below, it's just amazing. At the Country Music Association Hall of Fame in 2006 Ceremony George Jones introduced George and give him his medallion. He said, “Few artists achieve what George Strait has." From the looks of this very impressive list I have to say he's right!!! ”In his speech after being Inducted into the George said that from the day he started singing country music, he dreamed of getting into the Country Music Hall of Fame. Well, George, your wish has certainly come true. Throughout his 25-year career, his easy going, unaffected style has helped him sell more than 62 million records and notch an unprecedented 53 number ones. With 26 platinum or multiplatinum albums, he’s earned the second-most certifications of any artist in any genre, behind only Elvis Presley. It's not over yet, there will be many more awards added to this list in the coming years.
