GraMMMy For Hanson?

MMMBoy! Tulsa’s own internationally famous pop trio
Hanson has been nominated for two Grammy Awards.
The brothers three are queue for Record of the year
( For smash single" MMMMBop") and Best New Artist.
They’ll be competing against Paula Cole, Sheryl Crow,
Fiona Apple, and the irrepressible Puff Daddy.
The nominations were announced on Tuesday.
Hanson—composed of Hanson brothers Isaac, Taylor, and Zac—
is no stranger to the glitter of awards presentations, the vocal trio
already has pondered the question about where to place there own
statuettes. In November, the boys brought home trophies for best song
and best breakthrough Act from the MTV Europe Music Awards.
"MMMBop" was the first single from Hanson’s national debut album,
"Middle of Nowhere," released in May on Mercury Records.
The song hit NO. 1 in nearly every country that has pop charts.
The Hanson family lives in west Tulsa when they’re not globe-trotting
behind the famous threesome. You might have seen the boys in their
humble beginnings singing a capella doo-waop covers at Mayfest each year.
The 40th annual Grammy Awards will be broadcast Feb. 25th on CBS.
