Here

I stand

On the edge

Afraid to let go

Will I fall or fly

A chance that I must take

Will I soar to the stars above

Or plummet down to the depths of below

A chance that must be taken, to be known

For staying will ensure safety, but will also leave wonder

A wonder that can consume the soul in curiosity and frustration

But will also keep you safe and warm in monotony's hypnotic arms

So what can be done, you ask, looking down, looking up

Do I take a chance, risk it all, to dream

Do I hang on, march forward, the same path

Never knowing, what could've been,by letting go

I stand on the edge, leaning back

Holding on tight, looking down again

The answer must be known

My hands fly free

Taking the chance

At last

Living
