Personal Kinder Surprise Collection - Hand-Painted Figurines (cont.)
1970s
NB: Although the figurines listed below feature in most major Kinder Surprise catalogues, there is some doubt about their authenticity, as no papers are known for them and they have no clear markings that would help identify them with absolute certitude. However, whether they be early Kinder Surprise figurines or not, they are very lovely little figurines in their own right, and quite collectable in my opinion. For now at least, I’m happy enough to count them in my Kinder Surprise collection, as they are more probably Kinder Surprise toys than not. Thanks to Andrea Kessler for all the 1970s hand-painted figurines in my collection to date.

NB: These are the real deal—indubitably Kinder Surprise figurines. Papers, which needless to say are extremely rare, are known for them.
