Avec les Crazy Crocos”), Benelux, Austria, Switzerland and Scandinavia (1996, “City Crocos”) and Spain and Portugal (1996, “La Alegre Ciudad de los Crocodristos/City Crocos”).

CRAZY CROCOS (BENELUX - COMPLETE SET OF 10)
Thanks to Rose Unsworth for all but two of these. And thanks to Kay Bundo for a Benelux paper, though this is a little worn. This set of crocodiles at school was originally issued in Germany in 1991 under the name "Die Kroko-Schule". However, I’m listing it under 1992 because my figurines have that year stamped on them. It was subsequently released in Italy (1991, “L’Allegra Scuola dei Coccodritti”) and Europe-wide in 1993 (under the name “Crazy Crocos”).

DIE CRAZY CROCOS (GERMAN – 1 OF 10)
NOT to be confused with the “Crazy Crocos” listed above, which is the Italian and Benelux name for “Die Kroko-Schule”! Die Crazy Crocos is the German version of the “City Crocos” set listed at the top of this page. The difference between this set and the later Benelux “City Crocos” set is that the original German figurines just have “FERRERO” stamped on them, whereas the Benelux ones have “FERRERO 1992” plus a letter.

Subsequently, it has been issued in France (1995, "La Bande des Hippos en Vacances"), Spain and Portugal (1995, “Los Happy Hippos de Vacaciones/Happy Hippos Holiday”), Benelux, Austria, Switzerland, Scandinavia, Eastern Europe and the UK (1995, "Happy Hippos Holiday"), Israel (1996, “Happy Hippos”), Italy again (2001, “Happy Hippos”, found in Kinder Merendero eggs) and France again (2001, “Hipp’ Hippo”, found in Kinder Joy eggs, the French equivalent to Kinder Merendero).
