PYRAMIAO (EURO/INTERNATIONAL - COMPLETE SET OF 11)
This set was released in New Zealand in 1999/2000. It was issued in Australia at the same time. Our paper was the same as the British one. These Egyptian cats were first released in Germany in 1997 under the name "Miezi Cats" (see a separate entry for those below). Almost at the same time, they were released in Italy and called “Miaogizi” (again, I have a separate entry for those below, as the German and Italian versions have variations distinct to the international line of these toys). Those two countries were followed by France (1998, “Les Egyptochats”), Benelux, Scandinavia, Ireland, the UK, Australia and NZ (1998), Spain and Portugal (1999, “Miaugipcios”), South America (1999, “Miaugipcios” / “Piramiau”), Eastern Europe (1999, “Faromiao”), Canada (2000, “Cairo Cats” / “Les Egyptochats”), Mexico (2000, Miaugipcios) and Russia, Poland, Czech Republic plus one or two other countries (2000, “Faromiao”).
