Building a Mystery Part 3

Disclaimer: this is my take on the entire Power Rangers story, taking place during "Shell Shocked" in PRiS,though very few parts of it are mentioned. All the PR past and present are Saban's creation, along with WMAC Masters. "Building A Mystery" is from Sarah McLachlan. If you didn't read The Rats: Introduction and the last two parts of "Building A Mystery", you'll be truly confused.

Clearwater Place (ICSR Headquarters),the Living Quarters

"Cammie, wake up, I need you," Jennifer-Diabla urged a tall Caucasian woman with shoulder-length blonde hair who was sleeping peacefully in a hammock slung in the far corner of the Living Quarters.

Despite its name,it wasn't really an area where all the ICSR had quarters, just a large, spacious area that served as the sleeping area and living room in Clearwater Place, the name she came up for the headquarters of the ICSR. Cammie mumbled something incomprehensible, but rose.

Cammie was Jennifer-Diabla's assistant, a role she had played in the ICSR for four years. Being an empath, she sensed that sometimes Cammie loathed her job, though she never admited it. "Yes, Mistress?" she asked sleepily, using one of the ICSR leader's many nicknames. Cammie had a soft, feminine British accent.

"I want you to bring someone here."

"What for?" Cammie asked, now fully awake.

"I have reason to believe that Tracer is after the person. Also, I sense that this woman might be The Huntress."

Cammie gasped.Tracer was the leader of The Jikido, a gang so dangerous, they would make Charles Manson and his crew seem like Boy Scouts.

"But there's two problems: one, how do I find The Huntress and two, once I do find her, how do I convince her that she's in trouble?"

"That's what I asked Lai. All she said was that to look for Karen Matsuchelli and have her join the ICSR".

Cammie bowed deeply." That doesn't make any sense, but I shall do as you say." Jennifer-Diabla returned the bow as her assistant left.

Lai had told her stories about The Huntress, a mysterious woman warrior who would help the side of good and bring peace to the known galaxies for a thousand generations, when she was introduced to the fire goddess four years ago by Rayden, god of thunder and protector of the Earth Realm. Jennifer-Diabla had, at the time, already been his follower.

Just then, a famillar bolt of lightning appeared and materialized into one of the informal members of the Elder Gods.

"Hi Rayden," she said casually. Rayden, like the other Elder Gods, was a sight to behold in a long white-white kimono with a sky-blue sash tied to it and wearing a conical straw hat. His pupilless eyes were white and flowing white hair was tied in a neat ponytail, yet under the hat, she could see a young man.

"Well, I see you're doing well against Astronema," he said in his throaty, Christopher Lambert voice. He chuckled. "Not very many people tell Dark Specter's protogee to go to hell and live to tell the tale."

Rayden cleared his throat. "Anyway, that's not why I'm here. Listen carefully and I'll tell you something Mother forgot to tell you." Lai was Rayden's mother. Jennifer-Diabla listened intently.

A Power Plant in Angel Grove

"Hiyaaa!"

The Lightstar Rangers were battling Electro Tramp and so far, he seemed very good, knocking down all all of the five Rangers with his electrical shock.

Just as he was about to go in for the kill, a male voice called, "If you want Rangers, you'll have to go through Turtles!" Then, five figures backfliped behind the Rangers, revealing the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

Electro Tramp was stunned. "Mutants?" Out of nowhere, a ball of light shot out of his hands.

Instinctively, the Rangers ducked and Leonardo grabbed the ball "Hey guys," he called to his brothers and sister Venus, "let's play some ball!"

Leonardo threw it to all of them untill it came to Michaelangelo, who hit the ball into Electro Tramp, destroying it on impact!

The Rangers were stunned. "They exist?" Cassie asked. "Wow," was all that anyone else could say.

"Wow, you guys really do exist!" Venus exclaimed.

Apparently, the turtles somehow ended up far away from home and needed a ride home. Andros was hesitant about this, but everyone else insisted, so he softened a little and agreed. "Come with us," Andros said.
