THE HIGH AND THE MIGHTY (Self Titled) cd Mighty High Records

THE HIGH AND THE MIGHTY's sonic vibes is enough to purposefully ruin any fraternaty rush week with their brand of "I do not give a damn what others think of our sound." Just check out their self-made/self-titled compact ditty, available in primative, yet butt stomping mono.

The average rocknroll proletariat may proclaim to the world (in a stupor), that THE HIGH AND MIGHTY are to be categorized with GREEN DAY, BLINK 182, and all of those other boring mass marketed pseudo-punk outfits. WRONG! THE HIGH AND MIGHTY's is the band that not only gets kicked out of the nearest artiste infested coffee house, but sports beards and aviator sunglasses to the dismay of the pimply faced punkers.

Raw rocknroll tunage kicks off from the get go (on "The High And The Mighty"), and it just keeps on going and going and going.... almost like the crack addicted energizer bunny. The guitar sounds so action packed that the consumption of import beers is out the window.

Your parents are likely to bounce off the walls with these tunes, because they are not even close to resembling K-Tells greatest hits. No sir. They just ooze with tons of rocknroll energy, while a good ole country tune is tossed in the pot to help stir things up a bit.

Give me the trailer park, "The High And Mighty" cd, and a case of Pabst Blue Ribbon. Catching a buzz is a prerequisite when listening to these cats. Otherwise, they will stalk you down and proceed to remove all of your alcholic refreshments from your household.
