End With A Win
08/17/05--It was a tough year
for Damage, but once again the team was able to finish on
a positive note, dropping the Red Wings 4-2. The win
secured fifth place and also kept another record perfect.
Since joining All-American Damage has never failed to win
the final game of the session. In addition, this was
third meeting of the year with the Red Wings and the win
gave Damage the series 2-1. John Wiemers led Damage with
two goals. Steve McMahon and Dylan Goodwin also had two
point nights--each with one assist and one goal.

Loompas 10, Damage 8
08/04/05--Despite a six-point
night by Steve McMahon, Damage lost 10-8 to the Oompa
Loompas on Tuesday night. The loss drops Damage to 1-7-1
overall and into last place. Damage tied the game late,
but the Loompas were able to get the winning goal with
just over a minute to play. They added an empty net goal
with nine seconds left,

07/27/05--WIth a combination
of depth and strong goaltending, the Yellow Jackets
overwhelmed Damage 8-2 last night at All-American. John
Wiemers and Ron Disney led Damage with two points each.
Wiemers had a goal and an assist, while Disney put up two
assists. Chad Perrigo scored the other goal. Steve
McMahon was a scratch on the evening, and it appears Jeff
Laube is lost for the rest of the season.

Halterman Goes Out
Strong
07/26/05--Damage was able to
hold on for a 4-3 win in Dave Halterman's final game last
Tuesday against the Red Wings. Dave went out big,
collecting six penalty minutes on the night for a season
total of 12. It was the first win of the year for Damage
and moved them into fifth place overall. Damage has been
elimated from the championship game, but currently the
team is only two points out of the third place game.
Steve McMahon led Damage with two goals on the night.

Hard Skate Fails

07/19/05--Despite a winless
season, Damage gave first-place Battlestar Gallactica all
they could handle last Tuesday night falling 9-10. Dave
Halterman and Steve McMahon led the charge with a hat
trick apiece. Halterman added two assists and four
penalty minutes as well. Jeff Laube and Jason Perona were
both scratches.

Injuries Lead to
Blowout
07/11/05--Damage dropped to
0-4-1 with an 11-2 loss to the Mighty Ducks last Tuesday.
Both Jeff Laube and Jason Perona are out with injuries
and are questionable for this week's game against
Battlestar Gallactica. Dylan Goodwin played with a pulled
hamstring, but was ineffective. Jim MacMurray was a
scratch as well. Goodwin and MacMurray will return this
week.

Into the Cellar
06/29/05--Even with a couple
of free agent additions for the evening, Damage was
clearly overmatched in a 14-7 loss to the Oompa Loompas
on Tuesday night. The loss puts Damage at 0-3-1 on the
year and dead-last in the six-team "C"
division. The team is now winless in the first four games
of 2005. That contrasts severely with the three-game win
streak that concluded the 2004 season. Three players led
Damage with two goals apiece. John Wiemers had two goals
and free agents Dan Nickum and Jamie added a pair of
goals.

The Yellow Jackets now lead the all-time series 3-2-0.

Camp Rolls On
05/19/04--Training
camp started a little late this year, but things are
starting to shape up as four players have participated in
practice thus far. The action this Saturday was solid
with some two-on-two action and a short stint of
three-on-two work with one of the local speed demons. If
you've missed out, there's still time. The tentative
schedule calls for four more sessions before the season,
starting with a 2:30 practice this Sunday.
