Part One-THE BEGINNING!

Covey was bred at Murecroft Farms in Duntroon, Ontario (Canada) by a nice woman named Patsy Eastmuir. She was born at Murecroft on April 27, 1982, which would make her 17. She was sired by a retired racer (due to a bone-chip) named Coup de Des,
and was out of a grey mare named Greek Cloud. Cloud was accquired by the Eastmuirs in exchange for helping two mares foal.
Based on the pictures I've seen, Murecrof-Farms is beautifuly old fashioned with large, rolling grass pastures, and adorable wood fencing :)
She was a crazy little foal! Her legs appeared incredibly long and floppy. Covey's mane stood straight up in the air for who knows how long,
and she was a liver chestnut, unlike her mahogany bay color now.
Covey..er...Anna..spent five years of her life at Murecroft, though she was bought by Miss Rollins when she was 3 1/2. Murecroft Farms is also where she had her foal! She was bred to a Hanoverian stallion named Lorbas and foaled at the age of four. Her colt was liver chestnut (as a foal at least) with tall hind socks and a blaze similar to hers. His name is Lovat.
