Mounting holes
As you can see, I spent a lot of time cutting the little diamonds down to have it fit flush with the back of the stock grille. After that is done, I tried to cut the diamonds to where they'd fit in the bolt holes that hold the grille onto the mounting bracket. Try looking closer at the pictures.
Latch modification
You can see in this picture that I welded a metal rod to take place of the latch release bar. I removed the stock latch release by taking out the 10mm bolt on the left (there are a couple of springs that will "pop" out) and welding a metal rod to the latch part itself. Althought it seems rigged, many people don't know how to open it, and that's a plus when someone's trying to get under the hood to disconnect my horn(s)
