The Powerlights Chapter 1 by Kim
Hi, were the girls of powerlight. Yeah, okay you're probably thinking
what the heck? But, seriously....our leader's name is Swardson, but that
names a little suspicious so he changed it to Jack, Jack Adams. He's
also
my dad. My family is kind of special. You, see my dad's about five
hundred
years old but he passes for forty. My dad like comes from some far away
universe that's so complicated no matter how much he tries to explain it
to
me....even I don't get it. And my mom's like normal like you or any other
person. But, here let me start from the beginning.
My dad's planet fights evil. He was sent here to fight earth's evil. My
uncle protects Mars, my aunt Venus, so on and blah blah blah. But,
unfortunately people from my dad's planet like die when they turn six
hundred. What a great birthday present, huh? Yeah, I know. Well, my dad
was supposed to come and protect the good here on earth..but he got a
little side tracked when he met my mom. He was in love with a human.
Which he says has never happened on his planet before. He married mom,
which is supposedly not supposed to happen. And then they had me.
Which really shouldn't happen but it obviously did. Mom knows about the
whole thing and she still loves me and Dad and my dorky brother Jake all
the same. But, the first born (me) is supposed to be trained to fight
earth
from evil so when my dad dies I'm in charge. Scary, I know. But, I didn't
start training till I was fifteen, which I am now. I bet you want to know
what
kind of powers I get or something to fight evil. Well, truthfully
nothing.
Except three things. One, I'm really smart. That way I can out smart
almost
any kind of evil. I am so smart that the teachers have offered me to skip
a
few grades. But, I said no way. I wouldn't be with my friends then.
Second,
I have invisibility. Yeah, that one's my favorite. It's so cool. I love
it! Third, I
have the power to transport myself to dad's planet with this special
necklace I have. It just have to rub it 3 times and I'm there. I'm only
supposed to go there in emergency's though. Like when I have a problem
so big dad can't help. I haven't had to use that yet. And that's it.
Sounds
corny doesn't it. But, hey I'd much rather live this life then the normal
teenage life. This is tons of fun. My brother, Nathaniel, is so jealous,
cus
only the first born gets the powers and only the first born gets to be in
charge after dad dies. And since mom's a human, so is he. He's like any
other normal kid. And I rub that in his face every chance I get.
Now, earlier I said were the girls of power light. Meaning more than
one. That's right. My dad made me choose two of my best friends to help
fight evil all over the world. It's so great. They think it's awesome.
They
always want me to use that magic necklace to go to China or Hawaii. But,
like dad says the transporter is only used for emergency's. They don't
get
that, so I guess it's good I'm the leader of the power light girls and
not
them. Well, let me tell you a little bit about each of us.
Me- My name is Angel Kimberley Adams, but my friends call me
Angie. I have long layered blond hair, blue eyes...and I'm kind of the
brain
of the group. I'm also the health freak in the group. I don't know....I'm
just I
guess the never do anything wrong type of person. It's weird I know. I
also
have a huge crush on this guy named Matt. He's so sweet and nice. But,
he's too shy. And he probably doesn't even like me. But, lets not get
into
that. Let's move on to the next person.
Hope Tiffany Johnson- She is kind of the wild one out of us. She has
short brownish blondish hair, that's wavy. She also has brown eyes. She's
also the boy crazy one out of us. She goes out with a new guy every week.
She never had guy problems. She's also a swimmer, the best on her team.
She is the best swimmer I've ever seen. She's planning on getting a
scholarship for it. She's gotten like a zillion medals and trophies for
her
swimming. And she gets like A's and B's. She's like perfect. Sometimes I
wish I could be like her. So, she helps me with my guy problems and I
help
her with her math. We're like best friends.
Next is, Charity Krystle Jones- She's kind of shy quiet. And when it
comes to guys she's been going out with this one named Stephan for the
longest time. Since like 6th grade and were in 9th now. She's only gone
out
with one guy in her life and that's Stephan. They're like in love. But,
she's
so shy. Well, she's not really shy around us. She's just shy around
people
she doesn't know. We're trying to help her with that. But, it's hard.
Anyways, she has light brown hair with blond streaks through it.
But, she always wears her hair in a ponytail so it's hard to tell about
the
streaks. And she had blue eyes.
We're all best friends, but we all have weaknesses that the evil is
counting on. Evil lives inside certain people. They hide there. They are
invisible out of humans bodies. They need a body to live in. They kind of
control it's mind until finally get what they want but it's our job to
stop it.
And we don't only fight evil in our little town. We have to go to China
and
Japan, and Norway, and tons of places. It's like our work is never done.
Well, I guess you'll see what I'm talking about......
