The phone rang.

"X-Files."

"Uhhh...is Agent Scully there?"

"No, she's not.  May I take a message?"

"No, but you can tell me why you're answering Scully's phone."

"Not that I know it's any of your business, but I am Agent Scully's new 
partner on the X-Files.  Now can I help you."

Dead silence.

"Do you have a name?"

"Agent John Doggett.  Is there anything I can do for you or would you just 
like me to give Agent Scully your name and have her call you back?"

"Listen Doggett, my name is Melvin Frohike and if you mess with Scully
you'll have to deal with me and my posse you punk ass!"

Click.

Doggett just held the phone.

"Nice company she keeps," Doggett said and hung up the phone.
