FROM MY KITCHEN TO YOURS

These are some of my favorite recipes. I thought I would share them with you.


Oyster Soup
INGREDIENTS:
    2-3 cans of oysters
    2 tsp. butter
    1-1/2 cups of milk
    1/2 cup water
    soy sauce to taste
    salt and pepper to taste

mix all ingredients to gether and cook til boiling. serve with crackers.


Mom's Meat Loaf
INGREDIENTS
    1 lb ground beef
    1 egg
    about 7 crackers
    1/2 cup ketchup
    1 pkg onion soup mix
    1/2 bell pepper(optional)
    1 potatoe-chopped

Mix all ingredients in large bowl and then press into loaf pan.
cover with aluminum foil
Bake 350 for 1 hour and 1/2
remove foil and top with ketchup cook uncovered for 1/2 hour.
serve with potatoes and corn


Spicy Shrimp Scampi
INGREDIENTS
    1 TBSP or .4 oz of old bay seasoning
    1/2 oregano
    1/2 garlic powder
    1/2 tsp onion pwder
    1/4 tsp chili powder
    3 TBSP olive oil
    2 TBSP lemon juice
    1 lb. large peeled and deviened shrimp

Combine spices,lemon juice,olive oil. Add shrimp. turn til coated thoroughly
Chill for 15 min.
Heat large nonstick skillet over medium heat.
Cook 3-5 minutes or until shrimp is pink.
Serve over pasta or rice.

Puppy Chow

INGREDIENTS
    1 cup choc. chips
    1/2 cup peanut butter
    1/2 cup butter
    8 cups rice chex cereal
    2 cups powder sugar

Melt choc. chips, peanut butter and butter in pan.
Pour over cereal and mix til coated thoroughly.
Put powder sugar in zip lock bag. Add cereal and shake til well coated.
Pour onto cookie sheet to cool. Store in artight container

No Bake Cookies

INGREDIENTS
    2 cups sugar
    1 stick 4 oz. butter
    1/2 cup peanut butter
    3 cups raw oatmeal
    1/2 cup petmilk
    1/2 cup cocoa
    1 tsp vanilla

Bring to boil sugar, milk, butter,cocoa. Cook 2 minutes.
Add peanut butter and vanilla flavoring.
Stir until peanut butter is melted.
Remove from heat and add oatmeal.
Stir until well blended. Drop onto wax paper by spoonfuls and allow to cool.
