Our Chicago Trip - Page 2

~House Of Blues~

The House Of Blues was one of my favorite places we got to see. The inside is decorated so Awesome!

I should have taken more pictures of the inside. These just do not do it jusitce.

The girls just had to pose by The Blues Brothers Car...

ESPN Zone was pretty cool...

Next Stop...
~Pizzaria UNO~

When in Chicago...We love pizza, so we decided to try the "BEST"...Deep Dish, Chicago Style PIZZA...It takes 45 minutes to cook...and well worth the wait. We even brought back 2 pieces on the airplane for my parents. Yum, Yum...

The building seemed so out of place. It is tiny, in the middle of all the tall sky scrapers of Chicago.

We were told it was one of the few original buildings left, that were rebuilt after the fire of 1871. The entire city was destroyed in 1871 after the "Great Chicago Fire". Only 2 buildings were saved...The Waterworks building, and another one. They were both built of stone. Of course I did not get a picture of it...

Another reason to go back...lol...

Chicago has the most amazing buildings. It's architecture is well known around the world. The size of the buildings and the History of Chicago was so interesting. I wish we could have stayed for at least another day. When I go back I would like to spend a week, just sight seeing and taking pictures.

Al Capone's office was at the top of this building.

~The Sears Tower~

Our last stop before having to catch our plane home was the Sears Tower. 110 floors, the tallest building in the world.

The elevator taking us to the top is the fastest elevator in the world. We got lucky and the clouds and fog had lifted, but it was still a bit hazey. The view was great! I think we could have seen Wrigley Field on a clear day...
Another reason so go back...lol...
I love Baseball, and I really wanted to see Wrigley Field...We just ran out of time.

These shots were taken from the top of the Sears Tower, through the windows. I was susprised they came out as good as they did.
