The Memories Of Our Journey
Just to explain a little bit about how we got to Altanta:
Labette County, Field Kindley, and Pittsburg all drove to Atlanta, while everybody else flew. We stayed in the same hotel as everyone, and I myself personally roomed with both FKHS (Shald) and Parsons (Mark Chubb - House and Jordan Stone - Guest). J.R. roomed with some other Parsons people including Shay Holman (USX) and Amber Schmidt (DI).
Anyway, this means that since they didn't drive with us, they missed a lot of picture-taking opportunities, and moreover since they rarely went anywhere with the FKHS/LCHS/Pitts. group, I was surprised that I got anything. But here are a few glimpses of some people from other schools.
This is Mark Chubb. He's angrily strumming his guitar, thinking how everyone is "always f****** naysaying! Go sit in your tower!"
Actually he's just thinking how great it is to be tall. Look at this guy, he's freaking stretched across three states!
Next up on our adventure is:
Corey Anglemyer (Winfield - Policy Debate). He tried to avoid being in this photo, but I caught half of him. The other half looks exactly the same as the half you see, except mirrored. So use your imagination.
John and I sat around thinking up captions for this picture, because it just begs to be captioned. Some of the ones we came up with were:
"This is how I carried Ben all year..."
"Oh boy! Rickets!"
"Arggh! Corey HUNGRY! Corey want EAT!"
"And if I had an imaginary discus, I'd throw it in this manner."
Ralphie's Kid Brother from A Christmas Story: "I can't put my arms down!"
"My head will be parallel to the picture light yet!"
"Forward, not backward, upward, not forward, and always TWIRLING, twirling toward freedom!"
"Then we were asked to do MTV Unplugged. You should've seen it. We went right out there and refused to do acoustic versions of the electric versions of songs we refused to record in the first place. Then we smashed our s*** up."Enough of that silliness. On to Part III. Or go Back to Part I.
