Hey! My name's Lanie, and this is the page where I tell you all about me. I am 22 years old, and right now I'm working on taking some classes at Johnson County Community College until I can get back to KSU!! I have a wide variety of pets, and I love 'em to death - they're my 'kids'! :) Animals always have, and always will be, a huge importance in my life. I plan on becoming a Veterinarian (my goal since I was 4 years old!), probably doing small animal clinic work. I also love music - it's a big part of who I am. I love to sing, go to dog shows, ride my horse; I like reading, writing, playing guitar, flute, piccolo, and piano, bowling, air hockey, fooseball, and listening to music. In High School I was involved in Swing Group (our select choir - I was President my Senior Year, & on the choreography committee 3 years and co-chair 2 years), Chamber Singers (Select Elite Choir), Ladies' Glee (Select Ladies' Choir), Band (I was first chair flute and piccolo both my Junior and Senior years, and second chair my sophomore year), Cheerleading, FBLA, Biology Club, Forensics and Drama. I was in lots of honor bands and music contests. At K-State, I was in Women's Glee, Pre-Vet Club, Christian Challenge, Circle K, and before I left, had joined the Skydiving Club! (Unfortunately, I left before we started training for jumping.) God is a big part of my life.
