-- Story -- Just like any Sonic game, Sonic Adventure has it's own storyline. But, in it's own unique way. To get into specifics, each character has their own storyline that comes together in one big adventure. The main story is that Eggman (Dr. Robtnik) is back and he has bad news for the Sonic gang with him. He found a mischievous water monster by the name of Chaos! If matters aren't already worse, this monster feeds on chaos emeralds to grow stronger. Sonic must stop Eggman and Chaos before it's too late!

-- Gameplay Info -- Gameplay in each level has a pretty simple pattern to it. You run through a fairly large 3D level (destroyings enemies and getting items along the way) and doing other obstacles. This game has different characters with different goals to meet in each level.

This game has 6 different characters to play! Each with their very own storyline. This game is very unique with different attacks and moves. And throughout the game each character must use one of their special abilities to get across some obstacle.

• Sonic the Hedgehog: Sonic the fastest character in the game. He can do an incredible dash through the air, jump, even dart across a chain of rings from his enhanced shoes! Sonic's role in the game is the longest.
• Miles "Tails" Prower: Sonic's little sidekick, Tails is in the game also. Tails spins his tails around to defeat his enemies. With improving his abilities, Tails can fly high and rapidly do a tail attack.
• Knuckles the Echidna: Knuckles can do a combo of attacks. By pressing the attack button 3 times; the first two attacks are normal, and the 3rd attack is a direct hit. Like older Sonic & Knuckles games, Knuckles can glide through the air and climb. ;)
• Amy Rose Amy's back from Sonic CD with a more mature look. She carries around her piko-piko hammer to whack her enimies. As she gets enhanced, she spins her hammer around and does multiple higher flips through the air.
• E-102 "y" (Gamma) E-102 is a new character to the Sonic series. He's a robot that Dr. Eggman created and his trained to obey and destroy Sonic, Tails, & Knuckles. Code name: Gamma can shoot lasers with lock-on technology. He can hover hover water and if you keep him moving smoothly enough he'll even use his wheels!
• Big the Cat: Big is another new character and he gets his name from his size. Big the Cat seems like a very slow character. He carries a large fishing rod around so he can do what his profession is, to fish! He loses his best friend which is a frog. Big just uses his fishing rod to reel and attack.
• Super Sonic: Super Sonic is a secret character in the game. You must beat the game with all 6 characters to get him. Although you don't get to play Super sonic for a long adventure, he's the key factor on "really" beating the game. Just like the original games again, he needs rings to be in his super state. He can soar through the air quickly to stop Perfect Chaos!
