Knuckles
the Echidna finds himself in an Aquatic Mine.
He didn't think the mine would look like this,
but he'll try his best to find the emerald
shards. Please let this page load and click

Finally,
in Aquatic Mine, you get to swim around as
Knuckles. But, don't stay under water
too long, or he'll run out of air. To skip the
hassle of drowning, lets get the Air Necklace
upgrade. First, you need to flick the #3
drainage switch (below), and take a look at
the screen shot with Big the Cat in it. You'll
need to go into the area he was in and swim
through underwater tunnels. Do not waste any
time here and get to the Air Necklace room!
 Grab
this handle to make your way to the upper part
of the level. The #3 draining switch will be
here.
 
Search
through every tunnel and underground
passageways to find the emerald. They could be
anywhere.
Here
are two of the water level switches. They can
either raise water or drain it depending on
the number they have on the machine.
Don't
be a stranger when it comes to climbing and
digging around to find what you want.
Glide
around and pursue different areas of this
stage. Find the last emerald and we're on our
way for more.
