Looks
like Knuckles the Echidna is stuck in those
emerald hunting levels again. His scene starts
off with a new character, Rouge the Bat.
They're fighting over the property of the
Master Emerald. And as they continue Eggman
tries stealing it for himself. Knuckles acts
quickly and destroys it knowing he can reclaim
all the shards. First stop, Wild Canyon! Please let these images load and click the thumbnails for a better quality.
 
In
the beginning of the level, Knuckles is
confronted by a wide air lift. Use this to
reach the upper part of the level.
 
Since
the emerald shards are in random spots, you
must search everywhere. Try destroying any box
you can find for a shard or maybe another
item.
Always
remember to collect animals for your chao.
It'll help in the process of evolving them.
 
Try
digging around to find cool items. Like:
rings, extra lives, emeralds, even useless
skulls.
Wild
Canyon has a couple artifacts in the level.
The one pictured above will open the wall
behind it once you use Mystic Melody. It'll
take you to another room where you must use
Mystic Melody again. A warp will appear in the
air which will transport you to another area
of the level. The Mystic Melody upgrade is
located in a secret room above a statue in the
"Lonely Statue" area. There's
a square Egyptian picture you must dig
through.
 
Rely
on your emerald tracking boxes at the bottom
of your screen. Green means it's around you,
yellow means you're closer, and red means it's
very close to you. Once you've collected all 3
emerald shards give yourself a hand. =P
