This is the Egg Golem. Isn't he huge?

Egg Golem does a series of three kinds of attacks. 1. He slams both fists on the platform, one at a time, to lower it. 2. Then he might extend both arms and propel them around all the platforms. 3. He'll even thrust his face at you abruptly . Avoid all these with caution. Your best bet would be to grab a hold on those handles and lower yourself.

 

Once he's done with an attack, run to the back of him and hop onto each of the platforms coming out of his back. 

 

While jumping to the top on those platforms, hit that large mechanical knob on his head.

 

Repeat this process and you'll defeat him in no time. After you're done with him, Egg Golem will be free of mind control and even attack Eggman!
