2/19/01: Resaurus SA2 Character toys! (Knuckles Echidna)

Yesterday I was given a picture from a close friend of mine and it happens to reveal some of the characters from Sonic Adventure 2! The 'Dark Sonic' now has the official name of "Shadow". And Rouge is another unknown character at this point. She must've been a bat rumored around as 'Nails' or so. Things are now opening up for SA2! And from the signing that Ryan Drummond left on the guest book, the US release should be coming soon. So far we now know the characters: Sonic, Knuckles, Eggman, Shadow, & Rouge.

2/5/01: Sega News! (Sonic Prower)
I've known this for a while but I didn't want to post it up. Sega are to stop manufacturing Dreamcasts in March 2001. That's next month. It doesn't come as a surprise, seeing that Sega have been in quite some debt for a long time due to the 32X, Mega CD and Saturn consoles. However, the software for the Dreamcast will be still coming fast with House of the Dead 3, a sequel to Jet Set Radio and Space Channel 5 coming out along with Phantasy Star Online and Sonic Adventure 2. Sega will be manufacturing for other consoles now with 5 games coming out on Nintendo's Game Boy Advance and Crazy Taxi coming out on the Playstation 2! These are only rumours though that Sega are developing for the Playstation 2 but the Game Boy Advance with Chu Chu Rocket and Sonic Pocket Adventure looking as though they'll come out. The Dreamcast will live on inside a set top box. Sega have teamed up with Yorkshire Based Pace Micro Technology, Europe's number 1 digital set top box. The advanced technology found inside the Dreamcast will be used inside this box. There are loads of over-exaggerated reports on the Internet and would you believe it…newspapers, which aren't usually allowed to make rumours up. No need to worry Dreamcast owners. The software support for Dreamcast shows no sign of stopping. Other News: The Dreamcast sales in Europe are reaching 500,000. If you're the lucky purchaser of this Dreamcast then you'll win a silver Dreamcast and unlimited games for life! Just clearing up some other rumours now: The Dreamcast and X Box can't hook up together and Nintendo aren't buying Sega over at all! Also, these strategic move by Sega is to help it become the biggest software company in the world.
