Our History
![](https://www.angelfire.com/ks2/gbmoore//homepage.jpg)
The 20th century made it necessary for us to celebrate Black History
by remembering the greatness of our people
and their struggles.
As we grow into the 21st centurty,
we must not only celebrate our story,
but began practicing the very ideas and events that made our people great.
We must not only learn factual information
about what our ancestors, forefathers and foremothers did,
we must feel what they accomplished.
What we know and understand
becomes motivation for us and our children.
The inspiration accompanied with aspiration
will not only give us energy to celebrate
our past accomplishments but motivate us
to practice the daily rituals of success.
for celebrating by learning facts only,
keeps us in a superficial state;
like an empty body of knowledge.
