This is a really nice looking little airplane. Rumored to have been brought up from some where in the south. It suffered some emphanage damage from flood water (all wood aircraft). It had a 4stroke, 4 cyl engine mounted, case is rumored to be VW, the cylinders are definitely Porsche in the 3 photos I have seen. Aircraft is currently reported somewhere on the west coast now. flight data sez that it tends to wallow a bit up around the 85-90kn range. This does not surprise me as it has a flat bottom like a CH-47 Chinook, (rounded up at the front office and nose like a toboggan), appears to be a bit close coupled in tail moment, No dorsal fin, and average vertical fin area (moderately high aspect ratio). One pilot that has flown it says other than the bit of a wallow it is a nice little bird. If anyone is interested post me and I will search my archives for the image disc and try for more background info on it. I have a set of plans but do not have a construction manual. The design is from Europe. Thomas Cuny o@o wrote in message <8gd71q$neq$1@Inews.mcs.net>... >From 1992 Worldwide Homebuilt Aircraft Directory > > Alpha Aviation Supply Company > P.O.
