Layla and London

Layla and London never produced any pups. I'm guessing that one, if not both, of them were sterile. Layla and London have both passed on, within days of each other. Layla passed on first, from unknown reasons, and London shortly after, presumably from a broken heart. Even though they didn't grace us with offspring, they were a loveable pair, and much adored.

Layla

(at 8 wks)

Royal Star's Lovely Little Layla was one of the sweetest gerbies in the world. I got her from Amy Gray, a great breeder in Wisconsin (Thanks again, Amy!!). She was the daughter of Aveda and Juan of the Sunflower Clan. Layla was a spotted nutmeg female. She loved to climb on my arms and on my shoulders, back, neck, and head, and loved to go exploring. She also liked to hang from the top of her cage!

London

Royal Star's City of London was a spotted agouti male. He was the son of Fantasy and Chimera, grandson of Gwen and Chino, and great grandson of Alanis and Tito. He was on the small side, like his mother. He was a gem, and loved to be held!! London was a bright little gerbil with a curious personality, although moderately cautious. What an angel!!
