•Showgrounds

Shadow Lane offers a fully covered show arena available to rent and for our own purposes. The grounds are actually the property and maintained by the city of Shadow Hills. The massive 300x400 hundred ring is fenced in by a white 4ft. wooden slant rail, which leaves a 'lane' 9ft. across all along the ring for trainers. Seperated from the 'trainer's lane' by curtained scaffolding are the bleachers. The arena can sit approximately 1,500 people comfortably. 11 box seats lie along each straight away, with the announcer's box in between the entrance and exit gates at the near end of the arena. The far end features a large screen to display live video feed of the class in the ring. The bleacher seats are individual, numbered seats with armrests. At the top of the bleachers is a concrete alley for vendors, including two built in snack bars with complete kitchens. The ring's natural footing is fine dirt, but shavings or bark is availabe on request, for a minimum fee. In the center is an open judging stand, approximately 18x18ft. The warm-up ring is outdoors, but covered, and measures approximately 100x75. Permanent stabling facilities are wood 12x12 covered box stalls, with room for up to 100 horses. In the event of more horses, temporary stabling can be set up. Rental of Stablegrounds under private contract..for more information, contact Lexi.
