Notes:  K Scott Norwood misses a 52-yard field goal late in the first quarter, but K Nick Lowery puts the Chiefs on the board with 6:04 remaining in the first half.  After S Sherman Cocroft picks off QB Bruce Mathison, CB Ron Pitts picks off Blackledge and runs 75 yards for a touchdown with 43 seconds left.

KC mounts an impressive drive in the third quarter but fumble the ball away on the BUF 15.  On the very next play, with Frank Reich at quarterback, the snap is fumbled and the Chiefs recover.  Frank Seurer comes in at QB for Kansas City, but the Chiefs can’t punch the ball in from the 3 and have to settle for a field goal.

A pair of Norwood field goals round out the scoring and send the Bills home with a victory, their first preseason win in 2 years.

The Bills sack KC quarterbacks Todd Blackledge and Frank Seurer 7 times, after the Chiefs allowed no sacks in the previous 2 games.

Thanks Mike!
