Notes:  The Chiefs crush the Broncos in this historic Thanksgiving night game, the culmination of 37 years of lobbying by Chiefs owner Lamar Hunt to rotate the Thanksgiving games around the league.  The KC defense holds Denver to a mere 38 rushing yards, 10 of which were notched by QB Jake Plummer after his passing routes were defensed.  Meanwhile, RB Larry Johnson racks up 157 rushing yards and 1 TD and K Lawrence Tynes puts four through the uprights to push the Chiefs past the Broncos into second place in the AFC West.  Singer Jessica Harp of The Wreckers sings the National Anthem, and John Fogerty performs a half-time show.  This game is also the first-ever NFL Network broadcast of a live game.
