Notes:  Kansas City’s defense set the tone in this game, shutting down Elway when it mattered most.  Deron Cherry came up with his 7th INT of the year, picking off Elway in the end zone.  The Chiefs came up with 5 interceptions in all, as well as 5 sacks, and 2 blocked punts.  Even though QB Todd “Sackledge” stunk up the field for much of this Class of 83 matchup, the Chiefs managed to keep the heavily favored Broncos from clinching the division for one more week.  The game was fairly evenly matched through the first half, but Kansas City poured it on after halftime, wrapping it all up with a Lloyd Burruss 72-yard interception return for a TD.

Thanks Brad!
