Notes:  The Chiefs take their opening drive downfield and score the field goal, and the defense stuffs the Oilers on their opening drive, snapping their streak.  Houston’s “Red Gun” offense shoots blanks in this matchup as two of their wide receivers are sidelined with injuries.  The Oilers rack up 16 penalties in this defeat, including one on QB Warren Moon and one on head coach Jerry Glanville over the fight Moon gets into with Derrick Thomas.  Petry and Lewis block punts, the second recovered in the end zone by Pearson.  Okoye breaks 1,000 yards, becoming only the 5th KC running back ever to do so.

Thanks JD!
