Notes:  KC QB Todd Blackledge has a big day against the Oilers pass defense, despite his low (25%) completion percentage.  The Chiefs take control and push the Oilers all over the field during the first half.  Houston fares better in the second half, but the Kansas City defense makes the key plays and prevents the loss.  Houston’s 3 turnovers and 6 allowed sacks hurt them more than they can recover.  The Chiefs hold off a pair of 4th quarter Houston drives:  the first time they force a turnover on downs at the KC 5-yard line, and Houston gives away another with dropped passes, a sack, and an ill-conceived Hail Mary on 4th down that gives KC the ball back on their own 10.

Thanks JD!
