Notes:  The Chiefs are not so much dominated by the Jaguars as they are unable to execute an offensive series.  Just as they get success with the passing game, they inexplicably switch back to the running game and fail to get the first down – time after time.  RB Larry Johnson was held to 12 total rushing yards for a team total of 10, the second lowest total since 1965 (0 yards vs. Denver).  Brodie Croyle comes in for the injured Damon Huard (shoulder contusion) and throws a garbage touchdown pass, the first of his career, on the last play of the game.  The Chiefs avoid the home shutout, but it’s little consolation considering their sorry performance in all phases of the game.
