Notes:  Kansas City suffers a complete meltdown in this painful game.  The offense only manages to put up 3 points despite Buffalo’s leaky run defense, and Trent Green is sacked 6 times and intercepted three in what amounts to the Chiefs’ worst offensive effort in two years.  The defense shuts down Buffalo’s run game but allows two big plays that result in 14 points.  Lawrence Tynes misses two field goals, and Dante Hall’s return game is unproductive.  This game signals the end of Kansas City’s playoff hopes in 2005, and likely the end of Dick Vermeil’s tenure as head coach.
