Notes: Kansas City extends its
Lambeau winning streak, despite an ugly performance. The Chiefs get off to a stumbling start with
3 penalties on the opening drive. Green Bay has several
long completions and seems to dominate the game but can’t follow through with points. In the third quarter Christian Okoye is
unleashed, but penalties continue to back the Chiefs up. Albert Lewis blocks a punt to set up a field
goal, and Stan Petry comes up with an interception and runs it in for a
TD. The Chiefs hold the NFL’s leading
receiver, Sterling Sharpe, to an almost non-existent performance.
