Notes: The first
matchup between these two teams in
The Chiefs dominate the first half, but the Raiders start the second half with a strong drive that’s aided by a couple of KC penalties. RB Marcus Allen tosses a 21-yard touchdown pass to WR Dokie Williams. Later, a BS non-call when LB Matt Millen blatantly interferes with Brown’s ability to catch a pass results in a Nick Lowery field goal instead of a touchdown, and allows LA to go ahead on their next score. That next score comes when RB Frank Hawkins fumbles the ball at the goal line and Marcus Allen falls on it in the end zone. The Chiefs put together a great one-minute offense that puts them in easy field goal range, but the Raiders block the kick and win the game.
The Raiders sack Bill Kenney 6 times. The Chiefs are flagged for penalties 13 times.
Thanks Kevin!
