Notes:  Deron Cherry puts the Chiefs on the board with a touchdown off a blocked punt that he recovered in the end zone, and Kansas City’s defense keeps the Three Rivers crowd mostly quiet for the rest of the first half, except for the boos that rain down.  Boyce Green runs back a Steelers kickoff 97 yards for a TD, the first time the Chiefs returned a kickoff for a score since 1969.  Lloyd Burruss makes it a special teams triple, recovering a blocked field goal and returning it for a touchdown.  Pittsburgh plays hard in the second half but can only manage to get the ball in the end zone once, carried by their quarterback.  Kansas City sits on their lead and almost lets it get away, but the Steelers can’t convert and turn the ball over on downs with 1:16 left to play.  The Chiefs return to the playoffs for the first time since 1971.
