Notes:  Kansas City holds off San Diego’s opening drive and San Diego returns the favor by shutting down Steve Bono’s passing game.  The Chiefs get on the board on their next possession when bono scrambles around the right end and steps into the end zone for his fourth rushing touchdown of the season.

San Diego ties the game after receiving a huge gift from the officiating crew, but it turns out to be their only score as KC shuts them down for the remainder of the game.  The kicker who shall not be named hits 47-yard and 48-yard field goals to put the Chiefs up 13-7 at the half.  Marcus Allen passes Jim Brown for third place on the all-time combined yards list.  SD RB Natrone Means sits on the sideline with a pulled groin, and the Chiefs sack the flu-weakened Stan Humphries four times to move to 9-1 in one of Kansas City’s best seasons ever.

Thanks Steven!
