Notes:  QB Steve Bono finds WR Chris Penn in the corner of the end zone to start the KC scoring fest.  CB Dale Carter is next with a 46-yard touchdown catch, his first play on the offensive side of the ball.

The Seahawks finally get on the board with a field goal at 9:05 of the second quarter.  After a Seahawks penalty paves the way for RB Marcus Allen to score a touchdown, RB Steve Broussard snaps off an 86-yard kickoff return that sets Seattle up on the KC 12.  A false start and a sack take away their touchdown chances, and K Todd Peterson misses the 40-yard attempt.

QB Rick Mirer cuts the Chiefs lead to 11 when he muscles the ball into the end zone.

Despite sacking the quarterback 6 times, Kansas City’s -2 turnover differential allows the Seahawks to stay in it until midway through the fourth quarter, when CB Mark Collins picks off a pass in the end zone intended for WR Joey Galloway.  The Chiefs run the ball on the ensuing drive, chewing up over 3 minutes and notching another touchdown when Marcus Allen drives it in, moving into 3rd place on the career rushing touchdown list with his 105th.

Marcus Allen becomes the 8th player ever with 11,000 career rushing yards and reaches third on the all-time rushing TD list with 105.

Thanks Steven!
