Notes:  Kansas City rolls to a third straight win and a season sweep of the NFC West in this second Governor’s Cup match of the year.  RB Larry Johnson rushes for 172 yards on 27 carries, moving into third place on the total rushing yards list after a slow start.  Tony Gonzalez catches two TD passes, passing the great Otis Taylor for first place on the franchise TD reception list.  The Chiefs defense had a great showing for the third week in a row, reminiscent of the dominant defense of the 90s.  Since 1995, no other NFL team has a better interconference record than KC (21-5).
