Notes:  With their best offensive performance of the season, the Chiefs smash the Redskins – and former Chiefs head coach Marty Schottenheimer – 45-13 in Washington.  Priest Holmes is the big star for Kansas City, running for 147 yards and two touchdowns.  He also has 78 receiving yards and a touchdown reception.  The win is Dick Vermeil’s first as the Chiefs’ head coach.
