Notes:  The Chiefs, ravaged by the flu, fail to score on their opening drive for the first time in the season.  The Rams score a field goal, and on their next possession QB Chris Chandler hits WR Flipper Anderson for a 72-yard touchdown. After that RB Jerome Bettis chews up the clock

 

The Chiefs get the ball back, and LB Roman Phifer intercepts Joe Montana at the 20.  Joe throws three interceptions in their first shutout since losing to Houston in 1993.
