Notes:  The Chiefs host the Jets in this rare view of the old Municipal Stadium at 23rd and Brooklyn.  Dawson to Taylor puts the Chiefs up early and the QB enjoys a great start, but an INT to Grantham threatens to cast a shadow over Kansas City’s success.  Dawson isn’t the only successful Chief, as they rack up yards on the legs of Robert Holmes and Ed Podolak.  It’s a lopsided first quarter, with the Chiefs gaining 115 yards and the Jets just 4.  The second half sees a turnaround, as KC quarterbacks throw 4 INTs and nearly five the game away.  Marsalis saves the Chiefs from falling behind 23-14 with an interception in the end zone.  Kansas City is able to score again after that, and they hold on for the win.

Thanks Doug!
