Notes:  LaDainian Tomlinson rushed for two touchdowns and passed Walter Payton for third place on the all-time list for career rushing touchdowns.  The bitter cold and wind did not affect the Chargers as they embarrassed the Chiefs to stay on top of the AFC West.  The Chiefs, who held the Chargers to a 10-10 tie in the first half, could not get any offensive momentum and gave up 8 sacks to the San Diego defenders.  Kansas City’s sole touchdown was a 2-yard toss to DE Jared Allen, who had lined up in the tight end position.  Allen also added two sacks to his collection, bringing his total for the season to 11.5.  One other bright spot for Kansas City was K Dustin Colquitt’s 81-yard punt in the fourth quarter. The announced attendance of 74,874 was the smallest at Arrowhead Stadium in almost six years.  The loss also marked the first time the Chiefs have lost to all 3 division opponents at home in the same season since 1977, when the Chiefs were 2-12.
